Algonquin Provincial Park in ON Canada

Algonquin Provincial Park is the oldest provincial park in Canada. It was established in 1893 and since then, it has undergone several additions to increase its size making it larger even with the state of Delaware or about half the size of Prince Edward Island. There are over 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometers of streams and rivers located within the park. It also serves as a border between the Northern and Southern parts of Ontario. Algonquin Park is also a popular destination for its many outdoor activities like camping, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, and cross country skiing. It also serves as the home of the Algonquin Logging Museum.
